Is there a more entertaining way to support Anoka-Hennepin’s students and programs than with an evening of excitement featuring the energy of dueling pianos?
The Anoka-Hennepin Educational Foundation (AHEF) didn’t think so either.
Lovers of music, delicious food and good times, who also love supporting Anoka-Hennepin’s schools are invited to the AHEF’s second annual Fall Shout Out, set for 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 15. The event will be held at the unique Golden Wings Flying Museum, located at the Anoka County-Blaine Airport, 8891 Airport Road NE, in Blaine.
Tickets are just $30 per person, and
registration is now open. Space is limited. Complimentary snacks plus concessions (pulled pork sandwich, chili, nachos, or pizza plus a cookie or brownie) provided by Hy-Vee with your registration. A cash bar will also be available.
The dueling pianos and musicians, from Rock It Man Entertainment, are sure to provide an exciting, high-energy and request-driven show with artists who can play just about any song from any era — from oldies to current top 40 hits to everything in between.
And if all that isn’t interesting enough, it’s all held at the Golden Wings Flying Museum, where guests can view the largest private collection of aircraft from the 1920s and 30s — America’s golden age of aviation. Participants will have the opportunity to write a "shout out" postcard to their favorite teacher/staff.
