Hello!  I am Lisa DuBois, the School Social Worker at McKinley Elementary School.  It is my first year at McKinley, so I look forward to meeting the students and families in this school.

My role is to provide support to teachers, students, and families in preventing, identifying, and addressing issues that may interfere with learning and success in school.  At McKinley, I work with students on an individual basis as well as in small groups on various topics, such as friendship difficulties, self-esteem issues, school anxiety, irregular attendance, death in the family, divorce or separation, anxiety, depression, and/or anger management.  Students are referred by parents, teachers, school staff, and themselves.

My office is located in the kindergarten/first grade wing.  You can reach me at 763-506-3479 or by emailing lisa.dubois@anoka.k12.mn.us.
