Prevention Specialist

Hello. My name is Amber Turcotte and I am the Prevention Specialist at Andover High School.  I have worked with teens for over 10 years in a variety of roles: coach, teacher, mentor, youth group leader, and social worker. As Prevention Specialist I look forward to meeting with students in small groups and/or individually to talk about what is on your mind or what you are having a difficult time with in life. I am at Andover Monday through Friday during school hours.

Groups I offer are: Drug/Alcohol/Sobriety group, Family Changes group, and Gay/ Straight Support group. I am also the Peer Mediation staff. If you would like to find out more information about the groups that I am offering come to my office located in the Attendance Office. If you would like to talk with me individually please stop by and we can arrange a time to meet.
