Welcome to the English as a Second Language (ESL) Home Page. The purpose of this site is to:

• provide information about the program
• improve communication between our school and community
• provide resources for students, parents, community members and teachers

Our ESL program serves students in grades K-5. Students who have a home language other than English, or that have lived in an environment where a language other than English has been spoken, may qualify for the program. ESL instruction may take place in the regular classroom environment or  in the ESL room based on the student's needs. The goal of the program is to  improve English language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening in the context of all school subjects.
