Hi!  My name is Paula Smothers.  I am the Math Recovery Intervention Specialist at Johnsville Elementary.  This is my sixth year of teaching and 3rd year as the MRIS at Johnsville.  Prior to teaching at Johnsville, I taught at Jefferson as a 1st grade Team Teacher and a Supplemental Programs Support Teacher.  Teaching has been very rewarding to me and I enjoy every minute of it! 

My husband, Dan and I have one daughter, Sydney, who is in 5th grade at Eisenhower Elementary.  Another family member is our Maltese dog named Buddy.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, walking/jogging, and playing games (Farkle and Bunco) with my friends.

I love it at Johnsville and I look forward to a great year!
