Becoming a Madison Volunteer 1. Complete a “Volunteer Application Form” 2. Complete a “Criminal History Release Form” 3. Return these forms to Madison Elementary.
Chaperoning a Field Trip Please make sure your forms are filled out and your student’s teacher knows you are hoping to attend at least two weeks prior to the field trip.
Procedures for Volunteers • Please sign-in and sign-out. The Volunteer Sign-In Book is on the desk in the school office. • Please wear a volunteer badge. These are located next to the sign-in book. • Please use the adult only restrooms while in the building. • Please read the “Volunteer Handbook” available on this website, the school district’s website and in the volunteer coordinator’s office. |
Please contact me if you’re able to help with our last volunteer opportunities of the school year! Thank you Madison Volunteers! Milk Caps Counter: We need a volunteer to sort and count milk caps this week. This can be done at school or home.
Campbell’s Soup Label Coordinator: We are looking for a volunteer for Madison’s Labels for Education Program. This person would sort, count and send in labels to Campbell’s, work with staff to decide how the points are used and attend PTO meetings to provide updates.
Track & Field Day: We need volunteers to help supervise students as they participate in Track & Field Day, Thursday, May 16th. The shifts are 9:10AM-11:35AM and 1:20PM-3:25PM.
Fifth Grade Celebration: We need volunteers (who are not attending the celebration with a 5th grader) to help serve cake on Wednesday, June 5th, 1:30 – 3:30.
Summer Weeding & Watering: We need volunteers to help maintain the flower beds near the school’s front door. Please let me know if you're available for any of the following weeks: 6/9-6/15 6/16-6/22 6/23-6/29 7/7-7/13 7/14-7/20 7/28-8/3 8/4-8/10 8/11-8/17 8/18-8/24 8/25-8/31
Folders: We need volunteers to stuff open house folders the week of August 19th. The date is to be determined.
