My name is Barb Novinska and I am the Volunteer Services Coordinator at Sand Creek Elementary.

There is a place for everyone at Sand Creek.  Volunteering is a great way to be involved in your child's education!!  Research shows that when parents are involved at school, children do better in their studies and have a more positive attitude toward school.  If you can come in for a special field trip during the school year, once a week or more to help in the volunteer workroom or special evening events -  all are welcome and every bit of time is greatly appreciated.

Please let me know if you have any questions on how I can help you get involved in an area that you are interested in.

Our Volunteer Workroom would LOVE your help.  Drop in anytime during the week to help out in the volunteer workroom - cutting, pasting, copying, projects, etc.  Sand Creek staff SO appreciates all our volunteers do for them.  Come in an hour or two, once a week or more! Our fall EASY MONEY ended on December 12!  1st place went to Mr. Schaefer's kindergarten classes and won a pizza party.  2nd place went to Mrs. Erickson's 2nd Grade class and they won a ice cream party AND Mrs. Sundem's 4th grade came in 3rd and have won a popcorn party.  Thanks to ALL for your participation.  Every item brought in benefits our school.  KEEP ON COLLECTING!!!! All items brought in will go towards the spring contes.  Watch for details! Bring in your items clean and clearly labeled with your teachers name. (Box Tops, Campbell soup labels, Tyson labels, Coke product caps, Capri sun pouches, Land o Lake's. 

Food Perspectives - visit www.fpitesters.com.  Become a taste tester and earn money for YOU and Sand Creek.  Kids can taste too (parents must sign up first). Try it - you AND your kids will LOVE IT!!

**ALL VOLUNTEERS NEED TO HAVE BOTH THE PURPLE VOLUNTEER APPLICATION FORM AND THE WHITE CRHR FORM ON FILE 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO VOLUNTEERING EACH YEAR.
