IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

•SUPPLIES:  Spiral notebook, folder, pencil-blue or black pen, reading book

•GRADING:  90 - 100% = A; 80 - 89% = B; 70 - 79% = C; 60 - 69% = D

•Check students grades on A-H Connect often

•LATE WORK: Late assignments will be graded on timeliness and quality

•INDEPENDENT READING:  Students are required to do independent reading each quarter.  Students will be given the opportunity to determine the grade they will earn.  For example, to earn an A, a student reads a specified number of pages and completes the required wrtieen work.  For each book, the student needs a parent initial to pre-approve (for content) the book your child selects.  For each book, the student also needs the teacher's intial before beginning each book (for reading level).  Students have class time most Fridays to work on independent reading.
