Dismissal Procedures Dismissal time is 4:00 p.m. and students will be released at the bell. If you are picking your child up after school, please honor our dismissal time. You may wait for your child by DOOR 2 or pick your child up at DOOR 4. We request that parents do not go to their childs classroom or wait outside the classroom door.
If you must pick your child up early, please come to the front office to sign your child out. We will contact the teacher and have your child meet you in the front office. Early dismissals count as either a tardy (less than 90 minutes) or one-half day of absence (greater than 90 minutes but not greater than half day).
Please Note:
*You may not enter or exit the parking lot during bus loading times (orange cones will be used to block entrances).
*If you are picking your child up on the Wingfield side of the building, you must remain with your car while waiting for your child to exit the building (vehicles may not be left unattended on the West side of Wingfield Avenue).
*Students should be picked up on the WEST side of Wingfield Avenue.
*Students should cross at the crosswalk only; students are safest when crossing with the Crossing Guards and/or School Patrols.
*Students must wait for their ride on school property. Students should not sit, stand, or play on private property in the neighborhood.
*If you arrive after 4:05 p.m., your child will be asked to wait for you in the school office. Please walk into the building to pick up your child.
*If you wait in your car on the school side of Wingfield (East) you must come get your child at the sidewalk. Students are not allowed to go along the hill or curb without a parent.
