11/11/10 > Monthy CLPTO meetings
All parents/guardians of Crooked Lake students are automatically members of this group. The CLPTO works hard for our school in many areas and supports our staff and student learning. Meetings are scheduled and printed on the Parent Calendar that came home with your student.

This is also a great opportunity to learn more about upcoming events and to hear more information about your child's school from various staff members.

Getting involved during daytime school hours is not always possible but maybe these evening meetings will fit your schedule better.

We encourage you to attend the meetings and see if there are other ways you would like to get involved with in this group.

Meetings are always held in the Media Center at school, Room 135.
5/31/12 > 5th Grade Movin' On Party
Your CLPTO is sponsoring this fun celebration event for all of our 5th grade students. It is our time to celebrate their success and send them off with a party.

A committee is working on the activities for the day but they will need some volunteers to help them during the event.

It is scheduled for Friday, May 31 starting after school at 4:15 pm.

Please let me know if you are interested in assisting and I will be happy to forward your name on to the committee.
5/01/13 > Office Help for 2013-14 school year prep.
Our office staff will need 4-8 volunteers who are willing to come into school and assemble the student folders that go home with all families at our schools fall open house. This is a great task for middle or high school age students as well!

We are planning this work to be done during summer break on Thursday, August 22, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. (We are flexible with the time for this task).

Please let me know if this is something you can commit to at this time and are willing to put it on your calendar. We need to have these names in place before summer break begins as I do not work during the summer months. You will receive a reminder postcard in the mail the week before.

This effort helps our office staff tremendously and they will be counting on your commitment!
5/01/13 > General Mills Box Top Coordinator for the 2013-14 school year
Our school will be in need of a Box Top Coordinator. This task is to set the collection dates with the VSC, collect donated items from shool, trim and count the collected items and package them for shipping.

All shipping of Box Top items goes through our school so no cost is accrued for the coordinator of this effort.

We redeem money for each box top that is put towards technology for our school.

Please let me know if you are interested in taking on this effort for our school or if you would like to hear more about it.
