STUDENT PLANNERS:

A Student Planner is a great way for your child to keep track of homework assignments and upcoming events on a daily basis.It's also a great way for you to see what your child is learning and/or needs to do. It's an organizational tool that will help teach responsibility and prepare your child for middle school.

Your child will be given time during each class to write down assignments and reminders every day. PLEASE look in your child's planner each night to see what homework needs to be done. We ask that you sign the bottom of the planner sheet on Fridays.

LATE SLIPS:  

Every Friday an orange slip will be stapled in your child's planner. It will show you how many late assignments your child had for the week, as well as a list of any assignments that are still missing. Please have your child complete any missing work over the weekend so they don't fall behind. There will be a place for you to sign the Late Slip so we know you have seen it and reviewed it with your child.

TAKE HOME FOLDER:

Your child will also have a designated Take Home Folder to bring papers home. Please look through the folder each night and take out corrected homework, tests, assignments, flyers from the office etc. and send the folder back the next day.
