Dear Parents and Students,
The purpose of this handbook is to acquaint you with Crooked Lake Elementary School. We want to especially welcome new families and our returning “CLS” families. We are proud and privileged to have your child attend here as one of our most special students.
Crooked Lake School, as a school in of the Anoka-Hennepin District #11, has as our mission..."To provide all learners with equal opportunity for lifelong success by effectively using all District resources in providing a safe, respectful, and challenging environment and by actively involving the entire community". The time children spend in elementary school is crucial to everything they will do for the rest of their lives.
We at “CLS” have been working hard to make this the best year ever for your child. To accomplish this goal requires the combined effort of home and school. Open communication and trust are important factors in building healthy home-school relationships. By working together as partners, students are the winners. We hope this handbook will answer many of your questions about Crooked Lake School.
Sincerely,
The Staff at CLS
