What is labor relations and do we need it?
The Labor Relations and Benefits
department is responsible for negotiating all bargaining unit labor
agreements, establishing compensation and benefit policies,
administering employee benefits, and processing employee grievances,
and completing other required reports (pay equity, seniority lists,
leave accrual, retirement benefits, workers compensation, and STAR).

unit agreements, including compensation and benefits for 13 bargaining
units and four policy groups. Anoka-Hennepin ISD#11 employs
approximately 8000 employees.
