Principal's Message

Hello Jackson families,

· The last grey envelope of the school year was sent home with your student Wednesday, May 22nd.  Students have 2 weeks left of the school year to complete all work and prepare for final common assessments.

· We have several end of the year field trips coming up.  6th grade students will be going to physics day at Nickelodeon Park at MOA as part of the Engineering Capstone project. Most of our 8th grade students will be celebrating their successful completion of their middle school years at Valleyfair on June 5th.   We continue to remind students of respectful behavior at the end of the year so that all students can participate in these fun events.

· There many music concerts in the last weeks of school, so continue to check our school website to keep you current on the latest events.

· There are EXTRA YEARBOOKS available to purchase! Yearbooks will be delivered on May 29th and 30th. Order now! Stop by the Main Office or see Ms. Buchholz in room J157 to purchase yours today! $25 cash/check. First come, first serve!

Have a great day!

Mr. Hagerty

2013 School Parent Survey

All schools in the Anoka-Hennepin School District will conduct Parent Attitude and Satisfaction Surveys (PASS) in May and June. This year, surveys are available to take online. You should receive a letter in the mail with instructions on completing the online survey. If you do not have access to a computer, you may request a paper copy of the survey by calling our school at 763-506-5200.

This is the tenth year schools have conducted the Parent Survey, which is a project directed by the Anoka-Hennepin School Board. Results are used by schools for school improvement planning.

Anoka Hennepin is offering unique STEM (Science, technology, Engineering and Math) summer enrichment opportunities.
