“Plane” Believers

One 100-word paragraph written by the team on teaming and communication (how it progressed between: students, students and the teacher, and students and the technical advisor)

We were an excellent group, overall. When we began our project, it was quite obvious that our Internet Science and Technology Fair (ISTF) project would be a fun experience because there were many topics to choose from, and our group had some good ideas. Communication was an important factor for our group. We reminded each other and made sure that we used resources that were available to us, so therefore we were able to complete our tasks of the three components and get the job done. We were a good team, in spite of some cases of being off task, but otherwise everything was fine.
 

Our team learned that picking a topic that is has a broad range of research is good, but it is about the right research to use—the research that would benefit us the most for our project. Being creative was also an important factor we learned about researching and innovating. Just because it seemed like is impossible, that doesn’t mean it can be achieved. The person who came up with the standard laptop had the idea and had to research the help support the idea. We also learned that there are many different possibilities when it comes to ideas.
 

Three lessons that we learned during the program’s duration is that communication is very important, procrastination will slow you down, and time is valuable.
