ABOVE AND BEYOND AWARD

Many Anoka-Hennepin staff members go above and beyond normal job expectations to ensure that students receive a high quality education in a safe and nurturing environment.

The Above and Beyond Awards involve students, staff, parents and community members in recognizing and rewarding Anoka-Hennepin employees - teachers, secretaries, cooks, paras, custodians and others - who consistently go that extra mile so students can be successful.

This program is a joint effort of the district and the Anoka-Hennepin Educational Foundation (AHEF). The first Above and Beyond Awards was presented in late April 2012.

How to nominate
A student, parent, staff or community member can nominate. The 2012-13 nomination form was due Dec. 7.

Eligibility
All part- and full-time employees of district are eligible.

Application process
Nominees are notified and asked to complete applications and return applications. Employees must complete the application process to be considered for an award.

Selection process
A panel of staff and community members will review nomination and application forms and select winners.

Awards
Each winner will receive an award from AHEF and will be recognized at a ceremony (typically held in April).
