ANOKA-HENNEPIN, FAITH AND COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP

Northgate Church Pastor Wayne Skaff delivers coats collected by church members for students to Heather Brenden, social worker at River Trail, in 2011.Statement of Purpose
The Faith Community Partnership is a collaborative effort of the Anoka-Hennepin School District, faith based organizations and broader communities to raise an awareness and understanding of compelling community issues and to mobilize people to help meet the basic needs of students.
Using open communication and creativity, this collaboration will provide immediate response to those in need and will offer specific suggestions for those who want to help.

Other ways to support schools
Donate food and clothing items
Since the major holiday food drives, donations have slowed down, especially food.

Please consider donating items to A-H's Pathways Program and the Family Welcome Center, which serves as a distribution center for families in need across the district (including elementary sites, which do not currently have food shelves like many of our secondary sites do).

Click here for the current "wish list" of items that Pathways and the Family Welcome Center is looking for.
Pathways and Family Welcome Center is open year-round.

Food shelves

All Anoka-Hennepin high schools now have food shelves and accept food, personal hygiene and gift card donations:
Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Champlin Park and Coon Rapids.

Coon Rapids
,
Jackson and Northdale middle schools and Compass Programs at Bell Center (serving fifth through 12th grade students) have food shelves as well.
