Courtney B
College Ideas: I have applied and hope to be accepted to the University of California Los Angeles, UC Berkeley, and the University of the Pacific. I also intend to go into International Business and follow with International Law.
Interests: I am involved in the Debate and Speech teams, Student Council, National Honor Society and the PSEO program at the University of Minnesota.
Something about CEMS: CEMS has been a great opportunity for me and other students interested in science, math and engineering. It has been a great four years!

 

 

Elizabeth J

College Ideas: I plan on going to Drake University the fall of 2012 to study Neuroscience and biology. I am very excited to move on from high school and apply the knowledge I have gotten through school in college. I am also excited to get involved in my college activities and organizations.

Interests: In high school I have been involved in choir, CEMS, and wrestling managing for all four years. Outside of high school, I have danced with Debra Miller's World of Dance for 14 years in the competition line.

Something about CEMS: I love CEMS. It has given me the oppertunity to find my nitch in the education process. The kids and teachers in the program have helped me expand my knowledge and gain friendships that are ever lasting. It has been a great oppertunity in my high school career and I am extremly grateful for it.

College Ideas: I am fully committed to the University of Minnesota Duluth for the fall of 2012 in their pre medical schooling program.

Interests: I am involved in the National Honor Society, Link Crew, after school tutoring, Alpine Ski Team and the girls Track team.

Something about CEMS: After being in CEMS for four years, my ideas for my future have been extremely broadened. It has helped me learn that engineering will not be the path I take, however it has given me the knowledge that I can use for the rest of my life. Not only that but I have met some amazing lifelong friends, which have enjoyed this journey through high school with me.

College Ideas:I have applied to John Hopkins, Boston University or Howard University for computer engineering. I am not fully committed to one yet but I feel that any of my choices would help me in the long run.
Interests: Student Council
Something about CEMS: CEMS has broadened my interests and has helped and prepare me in many ways for my future.

Something about CEMS: While I decided that I did not want to be an engineer, I have enjoyed the CEMS program and feel as though it helped prepare me for college.
