Welcome to the Home Education Enrollment Information Page

Due to changes in home school legislation, please find the appropriate instructions below.

Enrollment will be considered complete when all necessary information is provided. Paperwork for a student entering home school must be done before October 1st annually, or within 15 days of the student’s exit from public or non-public school, which ever comes first. Enrollment will be considered complete when all necessary information is provided.  To request aid for textbooks, guidance or health services, the Request for Aid Form, must be submitted to our office by October 1.

Experienced Home Educators:

Current home schools that are re-enrolling students will need to submit one of the following by October 1st annually: 

MN Compulsory Instruction Report or a Letter of Intent to Continue Home Schooling, which must include any changes to last year's information.


New Home Educators and those Enrolling New Students:

If you are a new home school or enrolling new students, you will need to submit all of the following by October 1st: 

MN Compulsory Instruction Report, documentation of immunizations and a copy of any appropriate credentials.
