ANOKA-HENNEPIN SUMMER SUPPORT

District continues Anoka-Hennepin Cares
For some, the end of the school year also means the end of support and stability provided by the school district.

We are concerned about the safety of our students this summer, and because of that concern, the district continue its "Anoka-Hennepin Cares - Summer Support" program.

The program offers students and their families a connection with the school district during the summer months. Anoka-Hennepin Cares staff assists students and families to find resources to help them through difficulties they may face during the summer.

Student assistance line
Phone: 763-433-4695
Hours: Open all summer, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Financial concerns? Feeling stressed or depressed? Just need some help? This summer, if your student or your family is struggling in some way - we can help. Anoka-Hennepin will have a summer assistance liaison to connect you to resources in the community.

Press conference video
The district held a press conference to announce the launch of the service on June 7, 2011 at Anoka High School. Clips of speeches from Superintendent Dennis Carlson, Karen Anderson (licensed social worker) and Dr. Dan Reidenberg (executive director of Suicide Awareness Voices of Education) at the conference are embedded into this page via our youtube.com channel.
