Parking and Directions for a visit to the Observatory Visiting the JMO Jackson Middle School Observatory 6000 - 109thAvenue N Champlin, MN 55316 Latitude: 45.153552and Longitude -93.353798 You need flash lights to walk to and fromthe JMO Park on the eastside of Jackson Middle School by the Community Pool. Park as close to door 15as you can get. Then walk north, between the building and the tennis courts, tothe track. Turn left or west and follow the track, past the portables, to thedomed building. This is the JMO. Enter at the south door facing the school. Dress for theweather. The classroom is heated but can be a little chilly. The dome where the telescope is mounted is the same temperature as outside.  |
