Martin Luther King Day- January 16, 2012

Ten students from each middle and high school were asked to represent their schools at the annual Martin Luther King event in St. Paul.  Students participate in a rally and march to celebrate the life of Dr. King.  For the first time our 200 Anoka-Hennepin students returned to our district for the 1st annual MLK Jamboree, where selected students performed songs, dance, and spoken word pieces about equity, civil rights, and community.  Six of our CRMS students performed "Stand By Me" for the very enthusiastic crowd.  Thank you to Suzane, Tenneh, Miltherine, Sinnah, Shirley, and Lois!
