Currently girls are under represented in the science fields in colleges and businesses.  The goal of Girls in Science was to provide an energetic, non-competitive atmosphere for girls in grades 4 and 5 to explore science and careers in the science field.  One Saturday a year, girls from each grade level are bussed to Bethel University where they meet with Professors and women in the science industry to conduct hands-on experiments that are real-world based.  We have had Keynote speakers and representatives from 3M, General Mills, Aveada, Medtronic, and St. Judes Medical.
