Task One

Provide a forecast of what the workforce demand would be over a five-year period to produce and market your team's technical application or process. Include the impact such production would have on the marketplace.

Over a 5 year period after this product is produced in the market I am guessing that Ford, Chevy, and Dodge all will have adopted using this product in all of their new cars. I also think that the percentage of people who will there seatbelt every time they get t into a car will go up.

As people start to buy new cars consumers will become used to using this and will like how comfortable it is compared to the old seatbelts. I think after 5 years researchers will see a huge incline of the percentage of people who wear their seatbelts every time they get into their car. I am expecting the percentage of people who wear their seatbelts jump from 61% to 85% in just over 5 years. I think they will also find out that the amount of death and injuries from car accidents will go down.

I think the reason why this product will increase so high is because more drivers and passengers will start to like how comfortable it is and won't have to deal with being uncomfortable. I think they will also realize that with this new seatbelt will protect them more in a crash them with not wearing one.

Overall I think this product will have a huge impact on the economy and will lower the number of car crash deaths in the United States and maybe later around the world. I this would be a cool safety feature added to any vehicle

Task Three

Develop an idea for a new science and/or engineering degree program that might emerge given the advancements in scientific knowledge that the team has identified. Provide a title and 100-word description of this new degree program.

Our degree program idea is to make a program that is designed to teach people how to make computer systems that can start and stop motors that could be used to complete tasks and solve problems. In our program they will have to solve many problems and complete many tasks that they might have to do in their job. This program will also teach  facts and background about this topic so they don't make the mistakes other people have made. This program will effectively teach people about computers and how to use them to run motors. This program will help them out a lot in their job in the future.
