I predict that in five years the demand for this type of product would be high. There are hundreds of prisons in the United States of America with over two million inmates. In the twentieth century alone, there were about 1,300 riots in all, which is around 13 a year. Seeing that our product is meant to control prison violence, and seeing the number of prisoners is increasing the need for a solution is high. Our robot can help with violence. This robot would have face recognition software to pick up emotions and access risk. If a risk is detected it will shoot the taser probe from its head if high anger and rage is detected. This is helpful for stopping violence, and because of this product prisons would be safer for prisoners and guards.

After the research my group has done, I have thought of a new degree program. Called the Autonomous Robotic Security Program, it will allow students to learn how autonomous robots work, how to program them, and security uses. They will also learn to understand why we should use autonomous opposed to humans or human operated robots, and the history of autonomous robots and their past uses. Additionally they will be taught how to make software for their autonomous robots, and how to supply the right power source to them.
