Volunteers make a world of difference at Jefferson Elementary

Listed below are the current and upcoming opportunities available at Jefferson. PTO Meetings - Have a VOICE

Mon, Apr 8th - nominations received
Mon, May 13th - new officers elected


VIP Breakfast - Friday, Apr 12th

8:00 am-10:00am - greet guests, help service breakfast, clear tables

5-7 volunteers needed


MCA testing hallway monitors - Tues Apr 16th & Wed Apr 17th

9:30 am-11:30 am - 2 volunteers each day
10:45-2:30 - 1 each day
1:30-3:20 - 1 each day
2:15-3:45 - 1 each day

Volunteer able to do quiet work (read book, Wifi available to work on laptop)


Jefferson Showcase preparation - Mon Apr 22nd -Wed May 1st

Mount and hang artwork in hallways - anytime during school day

6-8 volunteers needed


Jefferson Showcase - Thurs May 2nd

5:00pm -7:00pm

Face painting

3-4 high school students


Jefferson Planting day - May 3rd

All day event - each classroom will be planting a tree in the back area of the school.

Lots of adult volunteers are needed to help with cleaning up the wooded area
-removing garbage
-removing invasive species (buckthorn, poison ivy/oak)
-remulching the trail


Plant fundraiser distribution - Sat May 4th

9:00-12:30

10-12 volunteers needed to help with plant distribution
