A new degree that might arise due to our extreme advances in fiber optic communications would be known as the non visible telecommunications graduate and undergraduate program. I am sure that one of the major universities would sponsor it, perhaps even the U of M. It would have many on hand experiments, and experts teaching and explaining this huge advance in the field of telecommunications. It would be taught in one of the most technologically advanced rooms in the USA, and many educational field trips will be offered. Many of the graduates will go on to work at the many fiber fences located all around the USA.
