ANOKA HIGH SCHOOL
ACADEMIC LETTERING REQUIREMENTS

Students may "letter" in academics based on their cumulative weighted grade point average at the end of trimester 2. To letter, a student must have a cumulative weighted grade point average of:

  • 9th Grade Students = 3.9 Cumulative Weighted GPA
  • 10th Grade Students = 3.85 Cumulative Weighted GPA
  • 11th Grade Students = 3.8 Cumulative Weighted GPA
  • 12th Grade Students = 3.75 Cumulative Weighted GPA

Awards will be presented at a special ceremony in April.

A certificate and/or school letter is awarded to high school students for academic achievement.  Any student who drops out of school during the year for any reason not approved by the Awards Committee will not be eligible for an award.

Students who violate Minnesota State High School League rules pertaining to alcohol/drugs, tobacco, vandalism, violation of the criminal code, hazing, racial/religious/sexual harassment or violence, may not be eligible for an award.
