ACT PRACTICE

Attention Students who need to take the ACT!

There is a great opportunity to try out a FREE full length ACT at any of the sessions listed below. You do not have to attend the session at your home high school. You can sign up for whichever dates work best for you. The test occurs one day with a follow up resullts meeting to hand back the test, discuss what the results mean, and how to do better when taking the ACT for college admission. Kaplan is TEST to register and be sure to give the code of the sessions you wish to attend. Please note: All test days INCLUDE the writing test.

  Testing At Champlin Park

Although graduation and college may seem along way off, now is the time to start planning. If you are planning to attend a four year college after graduation or are unsure of your plans you should register to take an ACT or SAT exam this spring. The ACT is the most popular test with students from CPHS and is accepted at 100% of four year colleges nationwide. Students do not need to take both. But rather should choose ONE and prepare for it.

The following is a schedule of test dates and registration deadlines for the upcoming year:

 Please Note :Seniors who are hoping to attend a 4year college after graduation must test in December  in order to meet college application deadlines.(Some college deadlines may have already passed) Most juniors will test as early as February however the majority will test in April or June.  Students are encouraged to register on line at www.actstudent.org . Registration packets are available in the Career Center. Students can also register on line at www.actstudent.org.


Please Note:  *Champlin Park is a test center for all of the test dates. However in order to guarantee your student will be assigned here you must register early.  Failure to do so could result in being assigned by ACT to a school anywhere from 10-30 miles from CPHS. Also students who receive free/reduced lunches should check with the Career Center staff for a Fee Waiver from ACT or SAT.
