Thank you Mississippi Volunteers!
Volunteers are always welcome and appreciated at Mississippi!

Thank you everyone for all that you do to make a difference in the lives of our students at Mississippi Elementary!

We greatly appreciate all that our volunteers do for students and staff!
Please tell a friend and help spread the word about how much fun you have helping out at school. We can always use more volunteers…
there are many opportunities to help!

Everyone who wants to volunteer in any way at the school
MUST complete the two Volunteer forms.

These forms are available in the office or please call me and I would be happy to send one home with your child. We will make every effort to contact you to help out with the areas you indicated on your application. If you did not indicate any special areas on your application, please call me if you see something that would work for you.

Please look over the list, watch for flyers, call me, or email me!

We can use everyone's help!
To volunteer for events, contact Kathy Besst at 763-506-3537 or email her at Kathy.Besst@anoka.k12.mn.us.

Please remember:
All Volunteers must have a volunteer application
and criminal record background check completed
each year prior to the event.

Mississippi Walk-A-Thon

When:  Thursday, May 30

Time:  2:00 –3:15 pm

Start thinking of ways you can collect money: maybe save those extra coins in a jar that you find in the seat cushions, shovel a neighbors driveway, walk a dog, help unload the dishwasher, ask 25 people for $1.00 each and so much more!

What are we doing with this money:  It will going toward Mississippi technology. We are hoping to purchase more laptops and possible even get another laptop cart. This school year we were able to purchase 6 more Promethean Boards with the money we raised last year! Can we raise at least one more dollar this year? Last school year we raised $3,282.60.
