What are we studying this quarter?

Math- In math we will be studying units entitled, "Money, Miles, and Large Numbers" and "Changes Over Time." Language Arts- We have been enjoying literature groups! We will continue reading with our peers for most of 2nd quarter. We will also be working on strategies to prepare ourselves for taking the MCA test in April. Social Studies- We have been studying the Midwest region and we will be moving into the Southwest region this quarter as well. We have a great start to our ABC books of the United States! These are treasures! Science- Science Fair is March 9th! Spelling- We will be doing spelling units 18-26...look for information coming home on the strategies our units will be covering.
