Welcome To Johnsville Community School!
Hello and welcome to the Johnsville Community School program. We are excited to offer a variety of fun, safe and educational activities and classes for your preschool and elementary school age children. You may enroll your children in the Johnsville Community School programs whether or not you have children enrolled in Johnsville Elementary School. Parents/Caregivers are welcome to attend activities and classes along with their children. Our Community Schools offer a wide variety of enrichment programs for all residents during the school year and summer. |

Registration Information
Registration is not available on-line at this time. You may continue to use the registration forms available to you in our Johnsville Community Education flyer and the Families catalog. Johnsville Community Education flyers are sent home with each student enrolled in Johnsville Elementary School. Johnsville Community Education flyers are sent home at least three times per school year, with additional single flyers sent home during the school year. If your children are Home Schooled and you wish to receive Johnsville Community Education flyers we will send them to you at your request. The Families catalogs are mailed to all families that have children ages birth to kindergarten that live in the Anoka-Hennepin School District. The Families catalogs are mailed to families three times per year. |

All classes are open to persons with disabilities. We encourage children and parents to actively participate in integrated activities. If you or your child needs accessibility assistance to participate, please call 763-506-3012, TTY 763-506-1292.
Fee Assistance & Eligibility Requirements
Fee assistance requests must be approved prior to registration. Application forms are available by mail using the Request Information Form (circle Fee Assistance Form), or by calling Anna Gabrielson at 763-506-3012, TTY 763-506-1292. If you can show proof that you receive free or reduced lunch for your children, you automatically qualify for fee assistance and no additional paper work is necessary.
* All participants must be residents of Anoka-Hennepin School District and participating cities.
* Policy limits participation to one class per quarter per individual. The policy is limited to the class cost and is not to exceed ten (10) dollars. If there is an additional fee for materials, student will be responsible for the cost.
* To be eligible, one must meet set income guidelines (income before taxes).
* The following programs are exempt: special events, adult athletics, recreational swimming, community education outings, and others as designated by the local community school.
Building Use & Rental
Johnsville Community School rooms may be reserved by community groups on a first come first serve basis. Space may not be available for use or rental when school is not in session or during school conferences and other school sponsored events. If you are interested in using or renting rooms at Johnsville Elementary School please call Marv Johnson at 763-506-1267

Community Education Instructors must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have a strong desire to work with children. You do not need to be a licensed teacher to teach these Community Education classes. These are paid positions with flexible hours usually immediately after school and evening. Pay for instructors varies with experience. Classes are held at Johnsville Elementary School.
