3. 1 fine-point black felt-tipped pen (It is used for map work.)

4. pencils with erasers and/or pens (These will need to be replenished throughout the year.) 

5. 1- 2 composition books depending on how many notes you take. These are the notebooks that do not have spiral bindings or tearout pages. 

6. colored pencils (mapwork/maybe helpful to have an extra set at home)

7. ruler (mapwork)

8. small pencil sharpener
