Where the Food and Meals Come From


Food products are delivered directly to our schools in climate-controlled trucks from our contract vendors. All products are top quality items that meet U.S.D.A. guidelines, are appealing to students, fall within budget guidelines, and have been taste-tested by students and staff. All of our meals are prepared in school district kitchens supervised by staff who are certified in safe food preparation by the Minnesota Department of Health and have completed the National Restaurant Association's ServSafe training and exam. Nearly all meals are prepared in the same building they are served in.
