a.s.k.@jms (Accessing Sources of Knowledge)

JMS computer labs are "OPEN" for any JMS student to use for an educational purpose.

We encourage all students to visit the a.s.k. Program. It is open for all grades and there are teachers working in the labs to help you.

  • The after school ask lab provides students with an opportunity to access technology (computer, internet) resources after school. Students must be working on a valid educational project while in the ASK lab.  
  • A productive, educationally focused environment will be maintained and all school rules, policies and procedures apply.
  • No food, no gum, no drink in any JMS technology area.
  • Students filling in the computer lab sign-in form are agreeing to use JMS technology for an educational purpose only and to respectfully comply with supervising staff's instructions.
  • All students from all grades are welcome In the ask lab. No preregistration is required.

Schedule (Only available during student contact days):

7:45-8:10 a.m. (Monday-Friday)-Early morning access is through the Main Entrance. Students entering school prior to school bus arrivals need to sign in at the receptionist window or have a green pass from their teacher
8:10-8:20 a.m. (Monday-Friday)
- Students may come to ASK lab
3:20-4:25 p.m. (Tuesday & Thursday) - Students must be on time to be admitted.


The a.s.k.@jms program provides before and after school access to the multiple resources in the Media Center. This program expands educational opportunities, promotes lifelong learning, and enhances technology skills.
