Secretary's report: June 2011 minutes approved

Treasurer's report: Treasurer was not in attendance so no report was given

Volunteer Coordinator: Still in need of help stuffing open house packets on August 29th. Passed around signup sheet for back to school picnic volunteers

Principal's report: Teachers will be starting back on August 29th with classroom lists to be posted later that day. Open house will be the following night, August 30th.

Staffing changes: Shawna Raske has been moved to grade 1, Kari Protivinsky moved to KX and Stephanie Lazar to a .5 K position.  In grade 2 Mackenzie Lehn to work with Carolyn Lindstrom. Paige Warner moved to grade 3 and Derek Quist moved to grade 5.  Interviews are currently taking place to hire 2 teachers to teach inquiry (social studies and science) to grades K-3.

Levy was discussed as well as the newly formed playground committee and walk-a-thon plans.

School picnic set for Monday, September 12 and donation of between $250-$500 was requested and approved

New business:

Read-a-thon: was explained to newcomers and kickoff event discussed

Calendar of events: passed out to everyone in attendance

Burger King Night: PTO will be in charge of the 1st night, October 5th

Schoolkidz kits:  will be delivered on Wednesday, august 24th and to be delivered to classrooms on Monday, August 30th
