Classes, events and programs are designed to give parents information, ideas and skills to support their child's growth and development from birth to kindergarten, plus fun learning activities for children in an exciting early childhood classroom. Morning, afternoon and evening classes are available. A typical day in ECFE includes parent/child interaction where you and your child will spend special time together enjoying age-appropriate learning activities designed to enhance their growth and development. During the second part of the class you will meet with other parents and a licensed parent educator to discuss issues relevant to the ages of your children such as development, temperament, discipline, self-esteem and school readiness. While you are meeting with the parent educator, your child will remain in the classroom. During this time your child will interact with other children and participate in guided play, music, circle time, large muscle activities, stories and creative art.
