The Facility Use Task Force (FUTF) used many tools in the process of evaluating schools. One tool was a spreadsheet matrix of criteria that task force and Staff Resource Groups created independently and used to evaluate schools. This was used to examine a variety of factors, from demographics of a school's neighborhood to the age of the building's kitchen. This criteria matrix was only one tool. The task force used it to determine which schools to study further. Some of the schools then came off the list when they didn't meet other School Board guiding principles.
