Rum River Opportunities - Volunteer Form & Volunteer Handbook

• Friday, September 21, 2012, the online option for volunteers to complete the Criminal Record History Release form will be suspended.

• Volunteers will still be required to complete release forms prior to starting their volunteer assignment; they will complete paper forms as in the past. Paperforms(which will not require a person to enter their Social Security number) may be obtained from each school’s volunteer services coordinator or may be downloaded from the Volunteer page of the school’s website.

• There is no need for volunteers to complete a paper form if they already completed a form online. On-line Criminal Record History Release forms already completed by volunteers will remain in the secure website of Trusted Employees and will still be accessed by Parent Involvement/Volunteer Services staff.

Remember, if you would like to volunteer at Rum River Elementary, you must complete both the Volunteer Application Form and Criminal Record History Release Form.

These forms need to be completed each school year prior to volunteering for any event, including field trips and classroom parties.
