The public is invited to attend the all new "Symphonic Rock II" event on Saturday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 15 at 2 p.m. at Anoka High School auditorium (3939 Seventh Ave., N., Anoka).

Symphonic Rock II will feature some of the greatest rock tunes of all time and there will be something for everyone. The event will feature Anoka High School's rock group "Staff Infection," concert choir and orchestra groups and guest rockers Dennis Carlson (Anoka-Hennepin superintendent), Patrick Plant (Anoka-Hennepin chief informational officer) and John Hoffman (Anoka-Hennepin School Board member).

Some of the proceeds from the event will benefit Anoka High School Caring and Sharing Fund (which helps students in need). Tickets are $10. Call the Anoka High School ticket office at 763-506-6439 for tickets or for more information.
