This forum is for STUDENTS and STAFF involved in the Battle of the Books.  After reading a Battle of the Books title, please click on the title below and share your thoughts about the book.  Did you like it?  (If not, who would?)  If someone asked you to describe it, what would you tell them?  Please, for your protections, students should not share last names in any post.

What IS Battle of the Books?   This is an event to encourage reading and to recognize young people at Northdale who like to read.

What happens during the Battle next September?   Teams of students compete against other teams to answer questions from the books listed on the Battle of the Books list.  Prizes are awarded to teams participating.  Start looking for other students to be on your team and think of a team name and mascot.  Each team should have three members.

Which books do we read to prepare for the Battle?   A list of books has been chosen which includes many books you may have read already!  Check out each book listed below, and please share your thoughts about them.
