Students honor Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with “We Have a Dream” wall
(01/12/2024) To honor and recognize Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., students at Anoka High School (AHS) created a “We Have a Dream” wall in the entryway of the school. Students posted quotes and photos of Dr. King, while also adding some of their own dreams to the wall.

Anoka High School senior publishes novel, shares story at AMSA to inspire seventh graders
(11/17/2023) Students spend years reading books, few publish their own. Braylan Allison, a senior at Anoka High School, published a novel titled “Lunar” during her freshman year and has plans to publish a second book in the trilogy early next year.

Anoka High School (AHS) students ‘rise’ to the occasion, shadow teachers for career exploration
(03/01/2024) AHS students interested in education careers were able to envision themselves pursuing their future aspirations as part of their school day on Wednesday, Feb. 28, when they visited nearby Lincoln Elementary School to shadow teachers — an opportunity provided through the Educator’s Rising program.
